Dr. Hans Diehl, DrHSc
Founder of Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP), author of Health Power
Dr. Diehl is a world-class speaker. His message is that people don’t have to die of Western killer diseases. His Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) has been conducted in several countries affecting entire cities, either “live” or via a sophisticated video set with certified CHIP facilitators. More than 40,000 graduates have learned how they can turn disease processes around. His research, published in peer-reviewed journals and medical textbooks, shows that most people with essential hypertension, type 2 diabetes, elevated cholesterol, and heart disease can reverse these diseases and often become drug-free within weeks by simplifying their customary lethal American diet. In addition, overweight people learn how to eat more and lose weight on a permanent basis.
He was recently chosen by a national health magazine as one of America’s 20 superheroes in the health movement: “These scientists, through research, education, advocacy and public relations, have brought intelligent, well-reasoned new voices into the discussion of health care.”
Dr. Diehl is much in demand as a stimulating, dynamic, and entertaining speaker. His books, Health Power and Dynamic Living (co-authored with Dr. Aileen Ludington), have sold over 2 million copies and have been translated into 17 languages.
Co-owner Stuff I Eat
As I embarked on my journey to health, I experimented with new cuisine and realized healthy food was not only delicious and nutritious, but it also played a key role in all life on the planet! News about, “The Stuff I was Eating” began to spread and eventually I became a food vendor on Sundays at The City of Angels Church and then The Agape Spiritual Center. This ultimately led to the inception of Stuff I Eat Vegan Restaurant, which opened its doors in the spring of 2008. Stuff I Eat has allowed me to share healthy food with many people - A blessing from the most high. Continuously growing and advancing in my own journey to health, I realize that all though it began with and about me, I am only part of the universal whole. Peace and Blessings! -Babette Davis
Dr. Ellsworth Wareham, MD
Dr. Wareham finished medical school in 1942, then joined the Navy to be a doctor on a destroyer in World War II. Vegan since his 50s, Dr. Wareham is a famous cardiothoracic surgeon who retired at the age of 95. He has made recent television appearances with both Oprah and Dr. Oz.
"I'm 98 years of age and I practiced cardiothoracic surgery until I was 95... As far as my dietary program is concerned I happened to be a vegan, I've been a vegan for half of my life. I think that's the healthier form of nutrition, I try to maintain calm approach to the problems of life, not worry and threat over problems that come along."
Dr. Columbus Batiste, MD
Chief of Cardiology at Kaiser Permanente Hospital, Riverside, CA
Dr. Columbus D. Batiste, is a board-certified Cardiologist, and Interventional Cardiologist. Since graduating from Loma Linda University in 2004 and completion of his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in 2006, Dr. Batiste has performed nearly 2000 coronary interventions, and hundreds of pacemaker implantations. Over the years, Dr. Batiste has been recognized for his work by multiple organizations ranging from the Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center Internal Medicine Physician of the Year (2010), Inland Empire Magazine Heart Hero (2010), Eagle Award for Excellence in Medicine (2013), to the Derrell Thomas Foundation Community Service Award recipient (2013).
During the course of his practice, Dr. Batiste noticed that he was doing nothing more than facilitating the mundane process of moving patients through a revolving turnstile that led to increased medication and recurring procedures. Hence, Dr. Batiste sought to break this cycle and promote a long-term solution for his patients through nutrition, stress reduction, and exercise. Dr. Batiste has explored medical literature that has revealed the undeniable benefits of plant-based nutrition. Patients adhering to a whole food plant-based diet, coupled with exercise, and stress reduction, have developed a healthier heart. As a result of this and other influences, in 2011, Dr. Batiste led out in establishing the Integrative Cardiovascular Disease Program (based at Kaiser Permanente).
